Profhilo H+L is a product made of pure hyaluronic acid without the addition of chemical cross-linking agents (BDDE), produced through a patented bio-fermentation process of Streptococcus zooepidemicus, known for its extreme purity and safety.

Description

Profhilo is an Italian brand, manufactured by IBSA Pharmaceutics Italia in a US FDA approved site in Italy. The distribution of the product in UK & Ireland is performed by HA-Derma Ltd.

Profhilo H+L is an innovative dermal filler based on NAHYCO Hybrid technology, combining 32mg of law molecular weight HA and 32mg of high molecular weight HA maintaining complete manageability. This advanced aesthetic approach effectively counteracts the physiological reduction of hyaluronic acid in the skin, restoring the hydro balance, elasticity and skin tone whilst lifting and rejuvenating the skin.

This hyaluronic based dermal filler is designed not only to fill wrinkles and fine lines, but also to treat skin laxity and to remodel and lift the face. In clinical studies, it is proven as an extremely effective anti-ageing product with dramatic effect in skin quality improvement even in most challenging areas such as the neck, perioral area, hands and arms. This unique injectable dermal filler creates volume in the tissue, where it is needed thanks to its high spreadability. The effect of Profhilo H+L is manifested in increased firmness and elasticity of the skin, overall facial rejuvenation with a real improvement in lines and tightness of the skin. No allergy test is needed prior to treatment due to the high biocompatibility of the product.

Duration of the effect:

The effect of Profhilo H+L dermal filler is non-permanent because the hyaluronic acid is completely broken down within the skin eventually leaving no trace of the filler. Usually the effect lasts about six months, but this period is determined by many factors such as skin type, age, lifestyle, the degree of correction required, the technique used by the practitioner, etc.

For best results, two initial sessions are recommended, performed in one-month interval. After that further top up treatments may be prescribed to maintain the desired effect.

Adverse effects:

Minor side effects can occur at the implanted site in the form of discoloration, tenderness, itching, redness or discomfort. They disappear within several days after treatment.
